Lots of gooey, pre-condom era splash shots rear their sticky heads here in this Falcon classic from 1987. Giant Splash Shots II trades on the inherent eroticism of sultry summer days and cool swimming pools - along with the youth, money, looks, leisure and sexual appetite to enjoy them to the utmost. The cast, a good mix of veteran pros like Jeff Quinn and Jim Bentley together with talented (then) newcomers like John Rocklin and Eric Manchester, is exceptionally attractive, as are the upscale suburban Southern California settings. Photography is outstanding, sometimes capturing images of such beauty and excitement that they etch themselves indelibly in the memory - one of the highest achievements of visual porn. The Giant in the title admirably suits star Chad Douglas, and we're not talking mental giant. Douglas' talent dwells strictly below the belt, and this dvd gives him ample opportunity to show it off. As for his technique, only the most lurid expletives could do it justice. To judge from the reactions of his partners, it feels as excruciatingly good as it looks. This man is a master of rough, my-way, take-it-all sex. Like its predecessor, Giant Splash Shots II (FVP 50) lacks a coherent or compelling storyline, using instead a series of loosely related vignettes. But this dvd makes up for its indifferent narrative by generating a heady dose of genuine erotic heat leading up to the climactic orgy sequence. The viewer will feel he's gotten his money's worth from this top-notch production.
