Death Of Scorpio

A jealous painter lures his ex and the two men who he cheated with to his home for a modeling and sex session with a sinister ulterior motive in Death Of Scorpio, a dramatic 1979 gay porn classic from Francis Ellie (aka sexploitation and hardcore directors John Amero and Michael Findlay). Shawn Gregory, the artist in question, laments over his ex-lover (Michael Stone) leaving him, still bitter over his flings with two of their mutual friends (Giuseppe Welch and Scorpio). Shawn concocts a scheme that involves ringing up the men, one by one, feigning forgiveness, and inviting them over to pose, nude or in a jockstrap, for a painting. Each of these three portrait sessions transforms into an erotic event, as the men become entwined with Shawn in extensive sex scenes (showcasing lots of oral, 69ing, and fucking), before things take a turn for the deadly as the scorned artist enacts his revenge scheme! An emotive soundtrack, amusing imagery of the painting sessions, good sex, suspense, and sexy, masculine performers make for an intriguing blend. The cast highlights some regulars of late '70s/early '80s NYC productions in Giuseppe Welch and Scorpio (the latter obviously marketed as the big draw for the film), and lead Shawn Gregory also appeared in several other NYC productions of the era (including as the hookup in the second sex scene of New York City Inferno aka From Paris to New York).
