Sweet Alice

There are some very tasty scenes in Sweet Alice, from 1983, which also include some excess footage from several of Seka's best films. James a New Mexico cowboy hires a beautiful but no-nonsense L.A. detective (Honey Wilder) to find his wayward wife Alice, played by Seka, who was last seen heading for the bright lights of Hollywood. Their search finds her working as a porno star, with some of the biggest box office names in adult films, and onto a climatic x-rated film shoot where Alice is center stage in a revealing orgy. James and Wilder play well against each other and with each other in a sensitively-handled first encounter scene. A magic formula of a bittersweet love story.
